Jayde is the driving force behind our salon—our boss lady who works tirelessly behind the scenes (and on the salon floor) to ensure the business is running at its absolute best. With 13 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Jayde still looks after many of the loyal clients she met in her very first year of hairdressing.

A true all-rounder, Jayde specialises in colour lifting, grey blending, long hair work, and both ladies’ and men’s cutting. Just don’t ask her to perm—that’s her one hard pass!

Jayde works in the salon Monday to Thursday, balancing a busy client schedule with in-salon training and mentoring her team. On Fridays, she switches gears to focus on the business side of things from home, working closely with a dedicated hair and beauty business coach to ensure the salon continues to grow and evolve with the industry.

Outside the salon, Jayde is all about adventure—whether that’s travelling overseas, camping, or heading off on spontaneous outdoor trips. She’s also a proud dog mum to two miniature dachshunds, Luna and Rory, and loves nothing more than spending time with her family and close friends.

Abbie joined our team in March 2025, bringing with her 24 years of experience in the hairdressing industry—and a whole lot of passion for creating beautiful, customised results. Originally from Lauderdale, Tasmania, Abbie has quickly become a much-loved part of our salon family.

With a Certificate IV in Hairdressing and a deep knowledge of the craft, Abbie specialises in hair extensions, lived in colour, bright and vivid tones, men’s fades, and long hair colouring & cutting. She’s also known for her signature touch when it comes to in-salon treatments—always tailoring the perfect combination to suit each client’s needs and hair goals.

Outside of the salon, Abbie lives for the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, beach walks with her fiance Alex and their beloved fur baby Willis, as well as relaxing through yoga and cooking up something delicious at her beautiful home at the beach. 

Senior Stylist | Curl Specialist | Colour & Cutting Expert

Sonia – Qualified Cert lll Hairdressing – joined our salon family in June 2019, bringing with her over three decades in the industry. Now based in Hobart Tas, we’re incredibly lucky to still have her work with us – driving up to work with us for two weeks every five weeks. 

With 33 years of hairdressing under her belt, Sonia is known for her elite cutting skills, exceptional colour work, and a true knack for curly hair. Her skills with curls developed after extensive training of hydration and cutting techniques. Her extensive skills in colouring, perming and beautifully polished sets makes her a favourite among clients of all ages. Sonia is always going above and beyond for her clientele and her loyal following is a testament to the love and care she pours into every appointment.

Outside of the salon, Sonia is a proud mum of three, loving wife and doting nan. She’s a passionate hockey player, gym-goer, and all round social butterfly. Whether she’s planning our next staff getaway or challenging us to a deadly board game, Sonia brings energy, heart and fun to everything she does. 

Senior Stylist | Perm & Set Specialist | 

Mandy is the beautiful mother figure of our team—often arriving at the salon with homemade cakes, scones, soups, or a little treat for everyone. She has the biggest heart, constantly giving her time, energy, and love to those around her without a second thought. There truly is no one else like her. 

With an incredible 47 years of experience in hairdressing, Mandy brings timeless skill and deep care to her work. She specialises in perming, traditional sets, and both ladies and men’s haircuts. Her appointment book is now closed to new clients, a testament to the loyal clientele she has built over the decades.

Mandy also works every Tuesday on behalf of the salon at our local retirement village, Emmerton Park, where she often ends up volunteering far more of her time than required—because that’s just who she is. Outside the salon, Mandy is a devoted wife and proud mum of two daughters. She loves spending time in her beautiful garden and is the kind of person who brings comfort, warmth, and wisdom to every space she steps into.
